Infant T-piece Resuscitator (Emergency care)
Infant T-piece Resuscitator or Emergency Resuscitator is used to inflate the lungs of the infants less than 10 kgs to survive the immediate post-natal period using Peak Inspiratory Pressure (PIP) and Positive End Expiratory Pressure (PEEP) controls manually with the use of test lung and mask. This technique can be performed by healthcare personnel trained in handling resuscitator in the emergency care.
